Relocating To Middle Tennessee

Middle Tennessee...
Middle Tennessee, unofficially the area from the Tennessee River in the West to the Cumberland Plateau in the East, is one of the nation's fastest growing regions.   While the landscape is often rolling countryside, the northern and eastern boundaries tend to be more hilly.  Lakes provide boating and fishing recreation in many counties.  And, the Smoky Mountains in the eastern part of the state and the Mississippi River and Memphis in the west are only a day trip away.  Residents enjoy four distinct seasons.  Fall is colorful with often brilliant foliage, winters are relatively mild, spring is cool and green, and summers are warm, but retain the greens of spring late into the season.

The Economic Climate...
Middle Tennessee, with Nashville as its anchor, has long been noted as the state's center of government and the world's center for Country Music.  However, Middle Tennessee offers much more.  There is a growing and diverse business climate that now includes a burgeoning auto production industry with Nissan's assembly plant in Rutherford County and the GM Saturn assembly plant in Maury County.  Major national health service providers, printers, and insurance companies comprise only a small part of the varied business scene.  Excellent public and private education, no state income tax, an overall low property tax rate, favorable work laws, along with Tennessee state government's aggressive pursuit of businesses to relocate to the area, have led many national companies to call the Middle Tennessee home.  Additionally, the regional draw of the Tennessee Titans NFL football team, the Nashville Kats Arena football team, and the Nashville Predators NHL hockey team makes recruiting employees from all parts of the nation easy.

Communities...
Middle Tennessee boasts some of the friendliest and most active communities in the nation including...

Bedford County--Offering simple living, good schools, rolling hills and majestic horse farms, all in the middle of the state, convenient to shopping and medical services, yet affordable and relaxed.  The quality of life is enhanced by access to the many large industries in Bedford County that continues to maintain a strong economic and job market.  Home to the Walking Horse International Celebration, ten days of prancing and parading of the most impressive animals in the walking horse world.  A little something in almost any area of interest can be found in Bedford County.

Clarksville/Montgomery County
--Situated in the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee, Clarksville is one of the fastest growing cities in the Southeast.  From superior schools and health care to an abundance of parks and recreational activities, Clarksville/Montgomery County offers many opportunities for residents and visitors alike.   In addition to its recent ranking as America's 11th Best Golf City by Golf Digest, Clarksville has also been named Best Place to Retire (Where to Retire), 38th Family-Friendly City (Reader's Digest), and 57th Best Place to Live (Money Magazine).  Home of Austin Peay State University and the famed 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), along with its proximity to the Land Between the Lakes Recreation Area and Nashville, Clarksville is the Gateway to the New South™...a great place to live, work and enjoy!

Davidson County (Metro Nashville)
--Owning a home in Greater Nashville provides some exceptional benefits. The current selection of available homes gives you excellent choices in all price ranges, and in whatever part of town best suits your business, family and personal needs. The Greater Nashville area is known for its outstanding quality of life in education, arts, music and exciting sports at every level - including the Tennessee Titans NFL football, the Nashville Kats Arena football, and Nashville Predators NHL hockey. Rutherford County
--If you want to be in the middle of everything, yet find open land, quality services, and convenience, come to "the Heart of Tennessee" -- Rutherford County.  Although the fastest growing county in Tennessee, we still retain a small town flavor.  Home to Middle Tennessee State University, Nissan Motor Manufacturing, Uncle Dave Macon Days festival, and the nation's third best market for restaurants.  Civil War history and modern schools span the market of the geographic center of Tennessee.

Sumner County--With its hometown feel, you can be assured as you walk down any street you will pass at least a few people you know and who know you. This statement best describes the people of Sumner County--where residents have a genuine concern for their friends and neighbors in one of Tennessee’s fastest growing communities. Sumner County is experiencing tremendous growth due to the quality of life, a Tennessee Department of Education rated A+ school system, excellent health care facilities, local parks, abundant recreational opportunities and its close proximity to the Greater Nashville area. Our community offers an uncrowded and unhurried haven for people who enjoy history, romantic scenery, water recreation, an agricultural environment, notable celebrations and friendly folks.

Wilson County--Another one of Middle Tennessee's fast growing areas, yet we still retain great values in housing.  Local schools provide students with the instructional tools to score very high on standardized testing. Wilson County is convenient to Nashville's International airport and a crossing network of Interstates.   While Wilson County may be described as a bedroom community east of Nashville, we still maintain a rural atmosphere with down-home values. However, opportunities abound for new business growth.
